Why a CD-ROM in an orthodontic office?
Think about the way you explain orthodontic treatment to your patients every day, always searching for the best way to get your point across and improve your explanation. This CD-ROM has virtual impact and can be a great help. The goal was to create a tool, very easy to use, for the clinical orthodontist. It was not meant to be encyclopedic. This CD is fast and efficient.
How does it work ?
First the CD is comes in 3 languages: English, French and Spanish. You can change the language without leaving the program. Then you choose the type of malocclusion and the treatment plan you wish to present -- click on a title. For example: Class I with extraction.

Select the case that most closely represents your patient and show them how and what will happen during a their entire orthodontic treatment, from the beginning to the end. The film, in fact a "morphing" of a real case treated in my office has an impressive virtual impact on your patient and his family. This will help a lot in your explanation.

When the case is selected,
you can show a film, but also if you have more time, launch a slide show
of the case. Nothing constrains your explanation, you are free to explain
the way you will treat the case, the different type of appliances you will
employ, and the length of the treatment.
