You're an orthodontist, you don't need to have ready access to "The Journal of the American Dental Association" articles from 1990 on, right?
How about articles on glass ionomer cements, articles on mismanaged TMJ cases and their resolution, handling dentitions with enamel defects, a head's up on your light curing unit? The list goes on and on.
Too often we work with blinders on reading only those
three or four journals we subscribe to that are specific to our specialty.
The Journal of the American Dental Association on CD-ROM is indispensable. With it you can easily search a library of articles on nearly any area of dentistry. The interface is intuitive and efficient. The hyperlinks are numerous and excellent time saving devices letting you jump from related article to related article, easily retracing your steps. The information can be printed at will including images.
Last issue we said 'you've got to get "The Angle Orthodontist" on CD-ROM', well, this is a must have also. Optimedia produces the CD available through the ADA Catalogue. These CD's truly represent the computer age.
Your home or office is now your library.
