The patient is 9 years old, it can be noticed that eruption
of 85 is incomplete and 46 is tipped mesially. 45 the crown of which is
not yet completed, appears to be displaced horizontally and to lie between
the first molar and the second milk molar.
Diagnosis:
Eruption disorder of 85, displacement of 45.
Ankylosis is discussed as a possible cause of the infraposition.
Displacement of the permanent tooth such as in this case is not the rule.
Therapeutic considerations:
Up righting of 26 and space gaining for 45. The development
of 45 and the position of 85 should be monitored regularly, in order to
schedule the appropriate moment for removing 85.
